SHEK LIN

SHEK was born in Fujian in 1989. In 2012, he started his graffiti journey, and he made a lot of street creations based on Handstyle and Throw Up, and formed his personal symbol. His long-term street practice is integrated into his artistic creation system, and he finds inspiration from Japanese and American comics, electronic music and graphic design language. SHEK's work continues to explore the ideals and contradictory realities of the historical context in which he grew up, often with a long-term narrative that actively explores the boundaries of graffiti creation. He has cooperated with Balen-ciaga, Sankuanz and other international brands. In 2017, He tried easel painting for the first time, using the simple and iconic font symbol "SHEK" bubble character as the carrier, combining with other theme elements, through special color combinations, street emotions are integrated into the picture, bringing you different sensory experience under the same glyph.
