Remi (Némo) Moné
Némo, an artist and dreamer from Lyon, France, creates vibrant, whimsical sculptures that blend poetry, humor, and philosophy. Inspired by the concept of Point Nemo—the most remote spot on Earth and a resting place for space debris—he transforms discarded materials into joyful, surreal creations that speak to both renewal and imagination.
His artistic language is rooted in fluid experimentation, where everyday objects—ping-pong paddles, mechanical parts, wooden scraps—are reborn as playful animals, vehicles, and abstract figures. Through bold shapes, vivid colors, and a spirit of improvisation, Nemo’s work radiates positive energy and childlike wonder.
Central to his creative vision is the Bouzingo ethos, a nod to the 19th-century French movement embracing extreme romanticism and absurdism. Drawing from a childhood shaped by solitude and resourcefulness, Némo channels spontaneity, irreverence, and deep emotional warmth into his practice. His works are tactile expressions of resilience and delight, intended not only to be admired but to spark connection and joy.
With a humble mantra—“I am Némo, I am Nobody”—he presents his art as a shared experience rather than a personal monument. His creations are invitations: to dream, to feel, and to see the beauty in what others might overlook.
