LIN Yun

Lin Yun is a Chinese artist based in Israel, celebrated for her exquisitely detailed oil paintings on wood panels. Working exclusively in small formats, she pairs each painting with an equally refined handcrafted solid wood frame—in some cases, she begins her creative process by selecting the frame first, allowing its character to shape the narrative within.

Her compositions often depict dreamlike scenes or intimate parts of the female body, such as hands and necks, enveloped in a mystical or sacred atmosphere—sometimes serene, sometimes wounded. These elements form a poetic visual vocabulary rooted in contemporary feminist expression, aiming to evoke the resilience, sensitivity, and emotional depth of womanhood.

What appears subtle at first glance often reveals complex symbolic layers upon closer inspection, inviting the viewer into a quiet, introspective dialogue. The compact scale of her works enhances their emotional proximity, making them ideal for collectors who value intimacy and layered storytelling.
